Help Support Jonathan’s Critical Recovery
Hi, my name is Emilie, and I’m fundraising for my husband, Jonathan, who is facing a life-threatening medical emergency.
On Tuesday, May 20, Jonathan was hospitalized due to complications from a pneumothorax (collapsed lung). He suffered three cardiac arrests that day and had to be resuscitated each time.
The following day, May 21, he was airlifted from Nash UNC to UNC Chapel Hill, where he was admitted to the critical care unit and placed on life support. He also began dialysis, as his condition had severely affected his kidneys.
By God’s grace, and with the exceptional care of the medical team at UNC Chapel Hill, Jonathan’s condition is slowly improving. He was taken off life support on Wednesday, May 28. However, he remains in an unstable condition in the intensive care unit and still faces a long road to recovery.
We humbly ask for your support—through prayers, kind words, sharing our story, or donations—to help cover the overwhelming medical expenses and support our family during this difficult time. Should you choose to donate, your contributions will go toward hospital bills, ongoing treatments, and essential living costs throughout Jonathan’s recovery. Your gift, no matter the amount, means the world to us.
Jonathan is a loving husband and a dedicated father to three girls. He has always been hardworking and generous, offering help to family, friends, and neighbors whenever he could. Now, he needs our help more than ever.
We are incredibly grateful for your love, support, and kindness. Please keep Jonathan in your thoughts and prayers.
With heartfelt thanks,
Emilie and Family
