Help Jonathan Washington on His Road to Recovery

On July 22, 2025, tragedy struck when Jonathan Washington was hit by a drunk driver who was fleeing from the police while Jonathan was simply walking with his bike, through the parking lot, on his way back from the store. He was rushed to the hospital and, without identification at the scene, he remained labeled as a “John Doe” for four long days before his family could be reached.

Jonathan’s injuries were devastating: both of his legs were broken, with his left leg completely shattered. He also suffered multiple broken ribs, severe facial injuries, and has already undergone 16 surgeries, including the reconstruction of his left orbital bone and extensive plastic surgery to his face and lips.

Despite the unimaginable pain and challenges he faces, Jonathan is fighting every single day to recover. His journey will be long and difficult, requiring more surgeries, months of rehabilitation, and ongoing medical care.
