Hello wonderful people I’m Jonathan Redavid, choreographer and aspiring film director. Born in Milan, I moved to the United States 14 years ago to pursue my dreams and bring my artistic vision to life.

My journey in the entertainment industry started very early: at just two years old I was acting in commercials, then I discovered and cultivated dance, choreography, and in recent years, filmmaking.

I’ve had the honor of working with some of the world’s greatest productions, traveling alongside internationally renowned artists, and choreographing for major films. I have always believed that art has the power to leave a deep imprint on people — not just a fleeting aesthetic memory, but an emotion, a message that endures. For me, telling stories — through movement, choreography, or direction — means creating experiences that transcend superficial beauty and resonate universally.

Cinema has become my creative home. Over the years, I’ve self-produced several choreographic videos and, in 2020, created my first short film, “SÉ – A Journey into the Subconscious”, a personal project that brought me immense satisfaction. Today, five years later, I am ready to continue that story with a second part, merging the two into a complete narrative film. An original piece, carefully crafted in every detail, capable of competing with larger productions.

To make this dream possible, I humbly ask for your support. The funds raised will cover production and post-production costs: cast and crew compensation, locations, costumes, music copyrights , professional equipment, and submissions to national and international film festivals.

This project is more than just a film for me — it is an artistic mission. I am passionate about auteur cinema, and I am ready to create a visual and sensory work that will move audiences, inspire reflection, and leave a lasting impression. Haunted by the collapse of his brilliant past, a forgotten pianist undergoes a poetic inner journey that culminates in a transformative Christmas Eve performance where he finally reclaims his true voice.

This is a film about memory, identity and rebirth - blending dance, theatre, and cinema into a deeply emotional journey.

Jonathan Redavid was born in Milan, Italy in 1985. As young as two years old, he started working in show business. The young actor divided his time between cinema, television, fashion and print.

Redavid started dancing at the age of 5. In the following years he was representing the Italian Swing Dance team, winning multiple national championship. By 10 years old, him and his dance partner were the first Italians to win the European Swing Championship.

His dance career began at 16 performing in theaters all over Italy. A few short years later, he was already choreographing for television, films, commercials, music videos, live events, and concerts.

Throughout his teenage years, going into his young twenties, he traveled back and forth to New York and Los Angeles to train in many different dance styles, but was mostly self-taught.

After years of experience in Italy, he moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to follow his dreams in the entertainment industry.

Redavid has worked with Recording artists like JENNIFER LOPEZ, CHRISTINA AGUILERA, SELENA GOMEZ, KATY PERRY, NICKI MINAJ, JASON DERULO, RICKY MARTIN, NE-YO, MARIAH CAREY, P!NK, KELLY CLARKSON, ELLIE GOULDING, FERGIE, JUSTIN BIEBER, JESSIE J, WILL BUTLER, CAPITAL CITIES.

He has choreographed for many outstanding tv shows, films, commercials and brands including THE TOURIST with (Johnny Depp & Angelina Jolie) , SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, THE MASKED SINGER, DWTS Live, FLIRTY DANCING on Fox, PREMIOS JUVENTUD AWARDS, L.O.L SURPRISE, GARNIER, NESTLE’, and PUPA.

He has worked as associate choreographer and personal movement coach for JAVIER BARDEM, who starred in the film “LYLE LYLE CROCODILE”.

As well as for Tom Hiddleston in the film “THE LIFE OF CHUCK” directed by Mike Flanagan written by Stephen King.

He was the contributing choreographer for the REMY MARTIN Commercial Featuring USHER as well as for a CHANEL short film/ Commercial starring PHARRELL WILLIAMS and CARA DELEVINGNE directed by the legendary KARL LAGERFELD.

Jonathan Redavid played the role of the Three Legged Man, “Frank Lentini”, in the 20th Century Fox musical drama film THE GREATEST SHOWMAN. He collaborated on the choreography development and co-designed some previs sequences for the film, (he was not credited).

Redavid won best Digital Content Independent at the WCA, World Choreography Awards 2021. In 2017, he was nominated for International Choreographer of the year by WOD “World of Dance”.

Redavid recently directed Sara Diamond’s Ep Visual Album SARA X. He also directed 3 music videos for latin artist, Tiago Raul, BAMBA,

Redavid’s style of work is strongly based on story telling. He prioritizes imagery, composition, sounds, body language, and the psychological journey between the subject and the camera, often crossing the line of realism.

He finds filmmaking the most fascinating way to express his story telling.
