Hi, we’re the Friary family — William and Sharon (Jonathan’s parents), and his sisters Jennifer Friary, Christine Walther, and Andrea Kolb. We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support during an incredibly difficult time.
On Thursday, July 31st, our brother and son Jonathan was involved in a devastating head-on collision with a cattle truck on a rural road in Oklahoma.
Jonathan suffered extensive and serious injuries in the crash. He has six broken ribs (two on the left and four on the right), a broken leg (right) and blood clot, edema, and numbness in his left leg, a fractured sternum, a broken pelvis, and internal trauma including a bruised heart, abdominal bruising, swelling in his pancreas, and developing blood clots. He was transported by ambulance over two hours away to Oklahoma City, where he remains in intensive care at OU Health – University of Oklahoma Medical Center. He has already undergone multiple surgeries and faces a long and painful road to recovery.
To make things even more challenging, Jonathan had just started a new job three weeks before the accident, and a lapse in insurance coverage during his job transition has left him without the medical protection he desperately needs. This means the burden of mounting medical bills, travel and lodging for family, and long-term rehabilitation costs will fall on him and our family.
We are doing everything we can to be there for him — physically, emotionally, and financially — but we cannot do this alone. We are asking for your help. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward Jonathan’s medical expenses and support during his recovery journey.
If you’re not able to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Jonathan in your prayers.
Thank you from all of us for your kindness, generosity, and support.
With gratitude,
William & Sharon Friary, Jennifer Friary, Christine Walther, and Andrea Kolb
