What started as a normal evening quickly became every parent's nightmare. On May 20th, while practicing fielding with his team after a Little League game, Jonathan McDonnough was struck in the head by a hard hit baseball in a freak accident. He is currently at CHOP, where he is receiving treatment for a severe head injury.

Thankfully, Jonathan is showing signs of improvement—a huge step in what will likely be a long recovery process. While the full extent of his injuries is still being evaluated, his progress so far has been encouraging.

This fundraiser has been created to help support Jonathan’s family with expenses and any other needs that may arise during his recovery.

Jonathan is a wonderful kid with a big heart, and he’s part of a close-knit school and Little League community that’s rallying around him. Any contribution—big or small—will help make a difference.
