Hi everyone,

My name is Tessa and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my dad, Jon Spaulding — a hardworking, kindhearted man who’s been a familiar face in our community for years. Jon has worked for several well-known local companies and made friends wherever he went. Outside of work, he loved playing softball and big ball and could always make people laugh.

On Christmas Eve 2024, our lives changed forever when my dad suffered a serious fall. Since then, his health has declined drastically. He’s spent the past several months in and out of the hospital, fighting hard every step of the way. Recently, our family received the heartbreaking news that my dad has been placed on hospice care with a prognosis of six months or less.

We’re raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and to help my mom with bills and housing costs. On top of everything, my parents were recently told by their landlord that they must move — despite being month-to-month renters and having done nothing wrong. With everything happening so fast, my biggest wish is to help relieve my mom of any financial stress during this time, so she can focus on spending time with my dad and grieving peacefully when that time comes.
