Support Jon Shockley's Family in Their Time of Loss

Hello, as most of you are aware, my father, Jon Shockley, born 9/26/1964, passed away 9/24/2025. I'm really at a loss for words. My dad loved his rock music and his racing. Most of you guys knew him from childhood as Jon Jon. I knew him as Dad. I could not have asked for a more caring and loving dad. We argued a lot, but we loved each other. Anytime my dad was out and about, he had my brother and me with him. We used to race slot cars, go fishing, and go to various friends' houses growing up.

We were always together, and we enjoyed hanging out, talking music, racing, and sports. My dad knew almost every race there was since he started following racing. His knowledge in music always made me happy. When I wanted to hear a song, I could hum it or say 3-5 words of it, and he could tell me the band, the song, and the year it came out.

My family and I are asking for help covering funeral costs. We weren't fortunate enough to pull off a funeral, factoring in unexpected costs. None of us were prepared for this moment. Our cost is the goal of $2200.00 that pays for cremation, not a funeral. We weren't able to provide a viewing or a service.
