Hello Greeley family, one of our own needs our help!

Jon Lieto, a 1983 graduate from Horace Greeley HS and a single father, is currently fighting for his life at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.

About one and a half years ago, Jon was diagnosed with severe COPD after he was rushed to the hospital. Since then, he has been waiting for a lung transplant and has been on oxygen 24/7. Jon had progressively gotten worse and was at the hospital several times. But recently, they discovered he was bleeding internally and did not know where it was coming from. Now, Jon’s organs have started to shut down—his liver and kidneys. Jon is also fighting several infections, including pneumonia, and is currently in a coma.

His sister Cindy and brothers Frank and Todd are with him all the time, as are his daughters, 18-year-old twin girls Gracie and Brianna. John Jr. currently lives in California. Jon comes from a great family, and they are all pulling together. With that said, they need our help. Jon has been my friend for 50+ years. He is a warm and giving person who adores his children and family. If you know the Lieto family, you know this to be true. Please do whatever you can to help Jon. And pray really hard that Jon can survive this.
