At just four months old, Jon David has spent his entire life in the hospital, bravely battling multiple and very complex congenital heart defects.

His tiny heart is full of courage, and his spirit is nothing short of inspiring.

Mallory and Justin, devoted public school teachers in eastern North Carolina, are also raising their three-year-old son with the support of family, as they live three hours from Duke University Hospital in Columbus County, NC. Despite the distance and demands of daily life, they've been by Jon David's side every step of the way. They are truly amazing people, showing us every day what love and sacrifice really mean.
