Since Thanksgiving, my friend Jon Caton has been unable to work due to ongoing medical issues. He applied for short-term disability, but unfortunately has not received any income during this time. As the weeks have gone on, the financial strain has continued to grow. Recently, he received difficult news: he will need surgery. This means he will be out of work even longer, extending an already challenging situation.

Jon is a devoted father of three children, and his biggest concern right now is providing for them while he focuses on his health and recovery. Like many hardworking parents, he’s always managed to get by on his own—but this situation has gone beyond what anyone could reasonably handle alone.

Funds raised will go toward rent and basic living expenses, utilities and groceries, medical bills and recovery-related costs, and supporting his children while he is unable to work. I am organizing this fundraiser on his behalf to help relieve some of the pressure during this uncertain time. Any amount—no matter how small—will make a meaningful difference for this family.
