"Let's go out and get lost"

A phrase which was heard every time that there was a free moment. When Lugnut and Elsa were brought into our home, they became an integral part of our lives. They would accompany us on all our various adventures. Jon always said that he wanted a large dog named Lugnut and he got his wish and then some. We were always exploring. We loved our little family. Jon was the patriarch of our loving group until our lives changed forever. "No more nature, no more exciting adventures, you have incurable multiple myeloma cancer and dangerously low kidney function". A new phrase that took over our lives. No more trips, just lots of medication, doctor visits, chemotherapy and loss of independence. It changed the lives of everyone in our group, including Lugnut and Elsa. Jon is no longer making the money he did, and we can all feel it.
