Support Jon and Ashley Waters during their time of need!

I am writing to the hundreds and hundreds of soccer families that have had the privilege of working with Jon throughout his 20 years at FC Dallas. Jon and his beautiful wife Ashley need your help.

One week ago, Jon and Ashley sat down to a sushi dinner at one of her favorite restaurants, and while enjoying their dinner, Ashley quickly went into anaphylactic shock, having a terrible allergic reaction to something in her food. Ashley was taken quickly by ambulance to the ER, where the doctors tried to stabilize her and reverse the dramatic effects of the anaphylaxis. She was in the hospital for 48 hours before being discharged. All week, her body has been struggling to clear the effects of the allergic reaction, and she has been struggling with swelling in her throat and airways. She was taken to Parkland ER again yesterday, where they determined she will need surgery first thing Monday morning to remove a blockage in her airway that is leaving her unable to eat and breathe properly.

With Jon being a full-time youth soccer coach, they unfortunately do not have medical insurance. As you can imagine, with an ambulance, emergency stay, two days in the hospital, another emergency visit, a surgery, and the aftermath of follow-up visits, etc., the expenses are adding up very quickly and are daunting and a tremendous burden.

So I am calling on all of you faithful FCD families, as well as the various other schools, clubs, teams, etc., that Jon has worked with. I know you know how much he has poured into your kiddos and infused so much joy into their experiences as youth soccer players. He would never ask for the help himself, and we don't want them to have to bear this burden alone. Thank you in advance! Every little bit will help.
