Our dear friend/mother Jolynn Lovell is courageously fighting Stage 2 Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a serious form of cancer that has required immediate, invasive surgery and a long road to recovery.

Doctors recently removed a third of Jolynn’s tongue, her lymph nodes, and any surrounding tissue where the cancer could spread. She now has a tracheotomy to help her breathe and a feeding tube to ensure she receives nutrition. Jolynn will be hospitalized for at least two weeks and faces an intense rehabilitation journey ahead.

This has been a physically and emotionally devastating time for Jolynn — and the financial burden has added another layer of stress. She will need continued support for hospital bills, rehabilitation, therapy, and ongoing care once she is discharged.
