This GoFundMe is to raise funds to support Eliot Arts Magnet 8th grader, Jolie Simmons, who - along with her 4 siblings, 2 parents, and grandmother - lost their long-time family home on January 8th, 2024, in Altadena, CA.

Performing is a lifeline for Jolie, and she is working hard to improve her acting and vocal skills. This GoFundMe would give Jolie the opportunity to attend high-quality theater camps and workshops over the summer, as well as work with a professional vocal coach.

After the loss of her home, her town and her school and then rising up to star as Princess Fiona in Shrek, JR at The Ahmanson Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles this past Spring, Jolie is ready to take on anything thrown her way.
