This past week, I have been desperately searching for my indoor cat when I found this little kitty in need of desperate help.

We took “Joe” Jolene into the vet where she was microchipped, but not claimed. I have assumed responsibility for Jolene at this time.

I have received outreach from people asking how they can help. Luckily, over $400 of her medical fees were waived, and the grand total for now is $569.00. Our goal of $800 will be used for her current medical treatment and scheduled future treatment in two weeks.

Her prognosis at this time looks promising. Our hopes are that with continued antibiotics, dewormer, fluids, and a haircut, Jolene will be feeling better soon. One of our biggest hurdles right now is her weight- weighing in at only 4.16 pounds she is severely malnourished and we just keep hoping she will put on weight and gain some muscle mass.
