Jolene Goggleye, my mother, has been bravely fighting stage four lung cancer for the past four years and just found out she has cancer in her lower back.Recently, her doctors recommended she travel to the cities for possible clinical trials, offering hope for new treatment options. We recently thought that all hope was gone because her doctor told her that she was out of options and only her pain could be managed. This journey is not only physically demanding, but also brings new financial challenges for the whole family as we navigate the costs of being away from home.

The funds raised through this campaign will help cover Jolene's traveling expenses, lodging, and food while she seeks treatment and at home. My mom lives on SSI and can't afford her Ensure and can't find somewhere that will fill her prescription for it. We will continue to search for a place that will fill her prescription for the Ensure. That would help for her morning meal. She struggles with her appetite and finds it hard to eat commodities. The donations will also help her with food costs because she is currently under a hundred pounds, which can be very bad for people with cancer. Gummies help with her appetite but is an expensive option. Every dollar will make a difference, allowing her to focus on her health and the possibility of new therapies. Your support will ease the burden on our family and help Jolene access the care she needs.
