Hi everyone,

With a heavy heart and hopeful spirit, I am reaching out to friends, family, and our community to ask for support for an extraordinary woman, Joleen Springer — a devoted wife, mother, and former missionary who now owns and operates an Anytime Fitness gym. Joleen has spent her life serving others, whether on the mission field or helping people reach their health goals as a personal trainer. Now, she’s facing one of the toughest battles of her life: a diagnosis of breast cancer.

In the coming weeks, Joleen will undergo a double mastectomy — a major and life-altering surgery. Her surgery will take place on August 20th. If all goes well, she will be able to return home the following day. Recovery will require 2 to 3 months of immobilization, during which she will be unable to work or support her clients as she normally does. This not only affects Joleen’s physical and emotional well-being but also places a tremendous financial and logistical burden on the entire Springer family.

Her husband, Michael Springer, will be stepping away from his job temporarily to be by her side — caring for her and for their children. With both parents unable to work during this time, the family is facing a serious loss of income just as medical bills and recovery-related expenses are piling up.

We’re humbly asking for your help to support the Springers during this critical time. Funds raised will go toward:

    •    Medical expenses and surgery-related costs

    •    Loss of income from Joleen and Michael’s time away from work

    •    Childcare support and household needs during recovery

    •    Physical therapy and post-operative care

    •    General living expenses while the family is without income
