Our bundle of love, Jojo, has been hit by a large dose of life in the last month. She’s been diagnosed with an aggressive and malignant form of cancer and just a week later she tore a ligament in her knee. We’re doing all we can to support her but the vet bills are piling high very quickly with no end in sight.

We are pursuing several forms of treatment for the cancer including Chemo, and are looking to get her a high quality brace for her knee. It is the vet’s opinion that surgery for her knee when her life expectancy is a year or less would harm her quality of life more than improve it, so the next best thing is a brace that is molded to her leg - which is, of course, not cheap.

Along with imaging to monitor her cancer, the chemo, pain killers, the vaccine therapy, and end of life care, we are estimating that everything will add up to around $10,000. At the moment we are already about $4000 in debt in order to get her the treatment she needs with nearly $3000 incoming to pay for the chemo therapy.

There is no such thing as a donation too small. Anything you can do help out the light of our lives is deeply appreciated. In the event that there are more funds raised than costs, we will donate the extra to a local shelter.
