Help Jojo Fight Stage 4 Cancer

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Angela, and I’ve been blessed to know and love Jojo for over 20 years. She is not just my best friend—she’s a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a radiant soul who has touched the lives of so many.

Many of you know Jojo (Little Hawk Midnight) as an incredible artist, a compassionate listener, and someone who has always held space for others, offering healing through her tattoo work and presence. Now, she is facing a battle she never expected, and I am asking for your help.

Jojo’s Diagnosis & Fight for Healing

On January 8th, while evacuating from the LA fires near her home, Jojo began experiencing debilitating chest pain. Concerned for her daughter’s health due to the toxic air quality, she put her own well-being on hold. After weeks of bouncing between doctors and struggling to get answers, an ultrasound and second opinion finally led to a chest tissue biopsy on January 24th, revealing a breast cancer diagnosis.

On January 28th after further imaging via PET scan, they were given even more devastating news —Jojo was diagnosed with Stage 4 that’s metastatic breast cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes, liver, sternum, and lungs. Doctors told her that in conventional medicine, her cancer is considered incurable.

But Jojo is not giving up. She is fighting for her life and to put the cancer into remission as fast as possible. She is whole. She healed. She is healthy. Please help us pray for those things.

Why We Need Your Support

This Tuesday, Jojo is beginning an aggressive treatment plan, including chemotherapy, this is extremely hard for Jojo and anyone that knows her knows she is a natural holistic being and surrendering to this process has been extremely terrifying. She will be defiantly doing everything she can to fight this so that included also seeking holistic, integrative therapies to strengthen her immune system and improve her quality of life. However, these treatments are not covered by insurance, and the financial burden on her family is already overwhelming.

Her husband, James, is the sole provider while also at the same time needing to care for their precious 17-month-old baby daughter, Shiloh, also a full time job. With Jojo unable to fully care for Shiloh or work during this time, they need your help to alleviate the financial strain so they can focus on her healing and Shiloh’s care.

How Your Donations Will Help

Your support will go directly toward:
✅ Integrative & holistic treatments to complement and offset the side effects of her chemotherapy and boost her body’s ability to heal.
✅ Medical expenses not covered by insurance.
✅ Travel costs for specialized treatments.
✅ Childcare support for Shiloh while Jojo undergoes treatment.
✅ Daily living expenses to ease the burden on her husband while he cares for their family.

Jojo’s Hope & Gratitude

Jojo has always believed in the power of community and the healing energy of love and support. Now, she needs us.

Her daughter needs her mother.
Her husband needs his wife.
And she has so much more life to live—watching her baby grow, creating memories with her family, and continuing to inspire others with her story.

If you are able to donate, no amount is too small—every contribution brings Jojo closer to healing. If you cannot give financially, we ask that you share this page and keep Jojo in your prayers.

This journey is in God’s hands, and we are trusting in His grace and the kindness of our community to help Jojo fight this battle.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity. Thank you for being part of her journey.

Let’s lift her up with love, generosity, and the power of community.

With love and gratitude,
Angela, JoJo, James, Shiloh

Update for Jojo’s GoFundMe Community

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are beyond grateful for the generosity and love you have shown Jojo and her family. Thanks to you, we have raised over $30,000 to support her during this difficult time. Your kindness is making an incredible impact, allowing Jojo to focus on healing and spending precious time with her loved ones.

On 2/4, Jojo completed her first round of chemotherapy. As many of you know, she undergoes treatment every Tuesday, and the following day is especially challenging for her. To help ease the burden, we are organizing a meal train to provide nourishing, ready-to-eat meals for Jojo and her family on these tough days. This will ensure they have one less thing to worry about as she recovers from treatment.

We cannot thank you enough for your continued support—whether through donations, meals, prayers, or simply spreading the word. Every act of kindness means the world to Jojo and her family.

With gratitude,
Team Jojo
