His surgery can not be done in Guam so John has to travel off island to either San Diego or Philippines, we are trying to raise money to help with travel, lodging and medical bills.

Update on John L. Hapdei status. As of yesterday briefings with

John's Doctors, he has infection in hid blood stream. After checking his heart yesterday, they found an infection in the in left side of one of the tube that is growing and the Antibiotics won't take care of it since it's a big infection. According to the doctor, John will need a open heart surgery to take out the infection. John's condition and the blood infection circulation all over his body could cause more problem especially if it goes up this brain. Poor dental hygiene care for years and breathing in bacteria for a long time goes straight to his heart causing this infection to slowly build for years,this is the main cause of this disease. John has a history of heart problem that he was over due to do follow ups since his last shot for his heart discontinued years back. More and more complications can occur when blood infection remain circulating in his system.

Social worker will meet with family members hopefully tomorrow to discuss more and how to get John's insurance coverage or alternatives to get him the services he needs and because John has no insurance at all is gonna be a challenge for us all, so hopefully we can come up with more solutions to tackle this endeavor.
