Support John Kelley’s Recovery from Stroke

On Feb 22nd, John suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. An emergency condition in which a ruptured blood vessel causes bleeding inside the brain. It affected the left side of his body, causing severe numbness. He is currently at Texas NeuroRehab Center.

This situation has left John unable to work. He is a local landscape artist who takes pride in planting trees or adding a landscape design to fit the needs of his clients. The company name is Dream 4 Life Landscapes. “Keep Austin Green.” It is not only John’s passion, it’s his livelihood. He cannot wait to be able to get back to work.

In the meantime, John is in desperate need of financial assistance. He is at the mercy of the generosity of others. Anything you can spare will help him until he succeeds in his rehabilitation and is back on his feet.

I, Brian Hopkins, created this because John Kelley is part of our family. Not due to marriage or blood or anything that you would generally associate with being in a family. It’s because John is a very good friend. Extremely loyal. Would do anything for others. John and my brother, Brad are the closest thing to blood brothers as you’d see in a John Wayne movie. It upsets me to see such a dedicated person suffer. Life has its ups and downs. It’s hard to understand everything sometimes. I believe the good Lord has a plan for John.
