Support John's Recovery After E-Bike Accident

My name is John, but most of you know me by Dream or Live the Dream.

I’m reaching out for help after a life-changing accident. On Thursday, November 14th, I was hit by a car while heading home from work on my e-bike—my absolute favorite way to get around and something that brings me so much happiness.

I’m incredibly lucky to still be here and even luckier to be able to see my two little kids again. This accident should have ended very differently, but I’m so grateful to be alive. That said, I’ve suffered significant injuries that required me to go to the trauma center in Orange County, which is over at UCI. I also had multiple surgeries. I have a long recovery process, including time in a rehab facility.

My e-bike, which was not only my joy but also my main form of transportation, is destroyed. As I focus on healing and preparing to return to work as soon as I can, I find myself in need of some help to get through this tough time.

I never thought I’d be in a situation like this, but anything you can contribute would mean the world to me and my family. Your support will help me cover my basic needs as I recover and eventually get back to what I love the most: my kids, my e-bike, and my job.
