Help John McCrary Heal After a Devastating Car Accident

On September 2, 2025, after attending the Miami vs. Notre Dame football game, my life drastically changed forever! While driving home on I-95, my car hydroplaned, spun out of control, and catastrophically ended up submerged in water while mangled all around me! I vaguely recall emergency responders cutting me out of the car, being in a box with tons of lights, and later woke up at St. Mary’s Trauma Center in West Palm Beach, FL fight for my life.

I'm grateful to be alive and anxious to recover from the severed artery, broken bones, and spinal fusions. Based on what the doctors, therapists, and other medical professionals tell me, the road to recovery will be long, painful, and a bit uncertain—but thankfuly I'm alive, and back in Orlando to begin and figuring out what life with look like going forward.

As an independent contractor, I don't have access to FMLA, disability benefits or paid leave. My car kept me alive, but is a total loss. I am currently facing months of rehabilitation without the ability to work, earn income, or transport myself back and forth to appointments. I never imagined that I'd be in this position, and am humbly asking for your help.
