On August 24th John began seeing double, feeling dizziness, nausea, and pins and needles in his hands and feet. For months his symptoms made him unable to walk or drive on his own - so he had to leave NYC and move home to endure countless diagnostic visits for specialists, CT scans, MRIs and an array of other tests.

Many have been unaware of John’s journey, because he has continued make us laugh, and show such strength and positivity all while managing this way of life. It’s been many months of worrying and struggles, but John has finally received a diagnosis. However, the need to move back home caused him to lose his job in NYC, and all the tests and doctors visits have put him in an unfortunate financial situation and there are more bills to come. If you know John, you know he is a light to anyone who crosses his path. He brings so much joy, laughter, and talent to this earth, and the hope is to not let the burden of these medical bills and future surgeries dim his shine, so he can focus on his health.
