John has been home since April!! He is currently receiving OT, PT, and Speech Therapy all in our home! He recently started botox treatments to reduce spasticity. There is a long road ahead, but every day he makes strides in his recovery! We are so proud of him and so grateful for everyone’s support!

My name is Alexis Kersten, and I am John’s big sister. John is my best friend and the closest thing to my heart. John was in an accident on October 17, and was airlifted to the hospital. He will need to heal and need further rehab following this devastating event. John is the most outgoing and kind person I’ve ever met. He’s constantly trying to put a smile on someone’s face. The hardest part for me is not seeing his smile and the glow he brings into my life. I’m so thankful for all the love and support from all of you. John needs all the support, love, and prayers he can get. I’m asking for some support for my family during this difficult time, and it is incredibly appreciated. These funds will all go to medical bills.
