As many of you know, John Bejenaru has been walking through an incredibly difficult journey since being diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2023. Over the past year, he has faithfully pursued every medical option placed before him, meeting with numerous doctors and undergoing various treatments. Sadly, none of those treatments have brought the healing we’ve been praying for.

But God is still at work.

The Lord has now opened the door for a new treatment—one John has qualified for—and we give Him all the praise. As we continue to trust God for healing, we are asking you to once again come alongside John and his family as he steps into this next chapter of his fight against cancer. This path will take John to the Immunocine Cancer Center in Mexico.

Immunocine offers a unique, first-in-class immunotherapy that works by retraining John’s own immune system to recognize and attack his cancer. Rather than forcing or overriding the body, this treatment uses John’s own cells to restore what God designed his immune system to do from the very beginning.

The process begins by collecting a small sample of John’s tumor, along with his own dendritic cells—the “master regulators” of the immune system. In Immunocine’s certified lab, these cells are carefully trained using a proprietary “Double Loading” method and then reintroduced into John’s body through the lymphatic system, where immune responses are directed.

Because this treatment uses John’s own cells and is designed specifically for his cancer, it is deeply personal and fully customized. The hope is that his immune system will finally be able to recognize and fight the cancer effectively.

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

This treatment comes at a significant cost—expected to exceed $100,000—and John will need to remain in Mexico for approximately six weeks while undergoing care. In addition, the full amount must be paid before treatment can begin. For this reason, we are launching a second GoFundMe, trusting God and His people to help lift the financial burden from John and his family during this time.

If you know John, you know his heart. He is a man of deep faith, integrity, and generosity—someone who consistently puts others before himself. We are asking you to continue covering John, Dia, Mark & Eden, and Jason in prayer. Pray for strength on the hard days. Pray for peace when fear tries to creep in. Pray that John never forgets that the Lord his God goes with him wherever he goes, and that he rests in the truth that the Lord is his strength, his shield, and his help.
