With permission from his wife Paula, we are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for John. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, dedicated lifelong first responder, and beloved member of our community, Johnny is now facing an unexpected and life-altering medical crisis. John is a retired Albany Fire Department Firefighter Paramedic, Greenport Rescue Squad and Copake Rescue Squad Paramedic. Within the last week, John has had to undergo multiple cardiac surgeries and is now in critical condition. John is currently facing a grave illness which is going to require more extensive care and treatments.

While his strength and resilience continue to shine through, the financial burden of this sudden emergency is overwhelming. His family has put their lives on hold to be by his side and the cost of emergency care, hospital stays, treatments, and travel rapidly add up and add another level of stress.

We are asking for support for someone who has spent his life serving and supporting others.
