Support John’s Family After Tree Damage

Hello all. I am starting a go fund me for a great friend and coworker of 19 years. Today, after significant rainfall in the area, a tree uprooted and fell on John and his family’s home. The tree caused significant damage to the house and will require them to make accommodations to stay elsewhere until the structure is deemed safe to inhabit. While I understand that homeowners insurance will cover the damages to the home, he will need money for food, lodging and all of the unforeseen expenses that this will inevitably incur. John is one of the most giving people I know. He donates time to the VFW in New Paltz and would take the shirt off his back for a stranger in need. Please consider donating to help this family out.
