Our lives were forever changed on January 10th. Our brother, John, was tragically murdered in his home while protecting his stepson from an intruder. His bravery saved his stepson’s life, and we are grateful that he is now home and continuing to heal. Our hearts are shattered by this senseless act of violence, and we are doing our best to navigate the grief while learning how to rebuild a new normal without John.

John was a kind and hardworking man with a big heart. He was known for his generosity, his sense of humor, and his love of Boy Meets World. A child at heart, John always looked for the good in others, a rare and beautiful quality that touched everyone who knew him. His loss has left a void in our family that can never be filled.

Funds raised will help cover John’s funeral expenses, his stepson’s hospital bills, and any remaining support will go directly to John’s three children and two stepchildren. Any contribution or message of support means more to our family than words can express.
