Help support funeral cost for Johnny Lujan

3 weeks ago, John was admitted with what we thought would be a quick in-and-out hospit stay. It started with a low platelet count that required several medications and transfusions that suppressed his immune system. We knew the risk of infection with the medications but also the risk of bleeding if his platelets didn’t improve.

This past week, things took a sharp turn for John. From one day to the next, he quickly became more short of breath and had a harder time breathing. Long story short, he was intubated and started on antibiotics for infection in the lungs. 2 days ago, John became more critical and had to be transferred.

We thank the amazing staff at CRMC who worked so hard and did what they could for John. We give the Lord all honor and glory for his will is best, even when we don’t understand it.

John fought the good fight and earned his wings in heaven. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend. His quiet gentle spirit will be missed.
