On October 12th, 2025, we lost an angel, a dear friend. John was a truly remarkable man. He persevered through every obstacle life threw at him. He was a proud patriot and Vietnam veteran, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and then came home to serve as a police officer. He poured his heart and soul into his family. Unfortunately, he suffered the loss of his beloved daughter Susan, and then again had to surrender his wife Maureen to a facility as she was diagnosed with severe dementia. He still pushed forward.

For the last 7 years of his life, my daughter Lili and I became his adopted family and caregivers. I am proud to call him family. John had a heart of gold. He was irreplaceable and will be deeply missed.

The VA only covers a very small portion of the burial expenses. So we are asking if you can to help contribute so that we may give him a proper send-off and burial with Military honors. Please donate ONLY if you can. We appreciate your contributions and condolences.
