On November 4th, 2024, after a year of puzzling symptoms, John's world changed forever when he was diagnosed with a rare form of genetic ALS. Despite receiving excellent care from the Mass General ALS Clinic, John has experienced rapid declines in mobility and speech over the past few months.

John, who we all know as an avid fisherman and skilled car mechanic, has always been the go-to guy for favors - a tough exterior with a heart of gold. Now, it's our turn to support him. The financial burden of ALS is significant, with costs for medical expenses, specialized equipment, and home modifications quickly becoming overwhelming.
