For 14 years, John has endured kidney dialysis, and seven years ago, he was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, he has bravely fought through multiple surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy. A hardworking man, John spent his life in the oil fields until his health no longer allowed him to work. He is a devoted husband, father, and papa who has always put his family first.
In October, we received devastating news—John’s cancer had spread to his lungs and bones. It has been so aggressive that it continues to spread throughout his body. A tumor pressing on his spine has left him paralyzed from the waist down, confining him to bed while he still undergoes dialysis.
The mounting medical expenses, co-pays, and uncovered chemotherapy drugs have placed an overwhelming financial burden on our family. We are doing everything we can, but the costs are beyond what we can manage alone.
Through it all, John remains the strongest Hawaiian warrior, fighting with everything he has. If you are able, please consider donating to help ease the financial strain so we can focus on what matters most—caring for John and cherishing the time we have with him.
Any contribution, big or small, means the world to us. Mahalo for your kindness, love, and support.
With Love,
John's Family
