Johnny Gloria is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who recently underwent a life-changing kidney transplant. A lifelong 49ers fan and passionate gardener, Johnny is known for his calm, laid-back nature and his love for fishing and spending time with his four grandchildren. He and his wife, Debbie, have always been there for their family, but now they’re facing a difficult journey far from home.

Johnny’s surgery took place in Fort Worth, Texas, nearly 400 miles from where he and Debbie live. To ensure a safe recovery, they must stay close to the hospital for two months. With no family nearby, Debbie is doing her best to cook meals in their hotel room, but they still rely on takeout and face the high costs of living away from home. Since the transplant on October 18th, Johnny has battled fevers and infections, making this time even more challenging and uncertain.
