Friends, family and anyone who has the pleasure of knowing John Ruiz aka "Johnny", we are calling on you for help. On Thanksgiving afternoon Johnny suffered a stroke and subsequently a brain bleed that left him fighting for his life in the ICU. He is now awake and making progress but he has a long road ahead of him. His wonderful partner Chrystal has been by his side as consistency, validation and reassurance are key parts in his initial recovery and upcoming rehabilitation. As you can imagine, this is beyond devastating, terrifying and difficult for Chrystal, his friends and family. Johnny has always been our stronghold. His devotion is simply immeasurable. This is our opportunity to be HIS stronghold.

The level of care Johnny currently requires has left Chrystal dividing her time between being by his side in Phoenix and caring for her children and home in Prescott. As this is only the beginning of his journey, it is unclear how long this leaves them without a source of income. These donations will go toward supporting the household and any unforeseen medical expenses that may arise during this difficult time. Chrystal being close to Johnny is imperative for his recovery, lets come together to support her and get our friend home.
