Our beloved Johnnie Lee Lester peacefully transitioned on April 6, 2025. A man of strength, humility, and deep compassion, Johnnie touched many lives—as a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, mentor, and friend.

Johnnie was a true servant leader. From his early days in Lake City, Florida, to his years traveling the world as a Merchant Marine and seasoned chef, he lived with purpose, dignity, and an open heart. His greatest joy came from helping others, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and unwavering faith.

We, his family, are coming together to celebrate his life with the honor and grace he deserves. As we prepare for his homegoing service on April 19, 2025, at Historic Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Jacksonville, FL, we are asking for your support to help make this day a beautiful reflection of the life he lived.
