Support John Ginty and his family

Hi everyone! We are Joe and Jewel Ginty, we are starting this fundraiser to help our brother, John Ginty, during this time of need as he battles cancer.

On June 24, 2021, John received the devastating news of cancer recurrence after being in remission for 16 years. John was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in 2005 at age 16. Now at 32, he is married to Elizabeth and a father to three beautiful kids, he has to undergo and face this battle all over again.

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) starts in the bone marrow (the soft inner part of certain bones, where new blood cells are made). Most often, the leukemia cells invade the blood fairly quickly. John started his first round of chemotherapy in June and will undergo two more rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.

John has a long road of treatment ahead. The course of his treatment and recovery will make him unable to work. As the family’s main income earner, his family will experience lost wages besides the emotional toll they are already going through. His wife and kids will need all the help they can get and we want to make sure that money is not something that he and his family need to worry about.
