Support John Williams' Fight Against Myeloid Leukemia
Donation protected
Our son, John Williams, was diagnosed with leukemia on January 8, 2025. He was admitted to the hospital in Boise on January 11. He was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), an aggressive type of cancer. Inpatient treatment is how this type of cancer is treated. He will be in the hospital for 4-5 weeks. He will receive maintenance care and treatments in Lewiston but currently we do not know what that entails. It is unknown at this time when he will be able to return to work. He started chemo yesterday, January 22. The out-of-pocket costs to John will be in the thousands. He will be receiving a small income on a monthly basis but not enough to keep up on his monthly bills, mainly his housing costs. There will be continued maintenance over a few years, and he may have thousands of dollars in medical costs during those years. This has been very stressful for him and his family members. Any contribution would be so helpful in relieving the stress John is going through. If you are financially able to give support that would be wonderful but if not, please leave comments of encouragement if you feel comfortable in doing so. Comments of encouragement are helpful in the healing process.
