Hi, my name is Steve Follett,

A very good friend and long-time mentor and his family have been going through a very rough time and they could really use some help. Earlier this year, John W. Fisher underwent a medical procedure that had severe complications that resulted in the medical team twice having to medically revive him with CPR. He is so very lucky and blessed to be alive and is thankful to the Lord his mission here is not yet ended. Unfortunately, the CPR caused several broken ribs and, more seriously, an aortic dissection. While John has an amazing surgeon ready to correct the dissection, that surgeon has advised that he recover his strength enough to reduce his risk of complications and increase his odds of survival. This means the surgery likely will happen in early December according to the latest recommendation. John has been slowly recovering through all this 2024 summer to gain back his strength in preparation for surgery.

John and his wife, Rhiannon, have been struggling financially through all of this and need money for both medical bills and, more importantly, continued insurance as he heals and for this scheduled surgery. Due to changes in the company he works for, and his status on short-term/long-term disability, John will very soon need to pay upfront 3 months of health insurance premium to ensure continued coverage.

I know very near and dear to my own heart and spirit, all the amazing things John has done for myself in my journey through life, and how he has positively affected all of my daughters with his guidance and mentoring. It is also very clear through the 17 years I have known him that John has always willingly given his time, talents, and his own funds so many times to others in need. I ask that you graciously pray on this matter and contribute what you are moved to for this amazing man and his family in their time of need. Let us overwhelm Rhiannon and John with the same kind of love we have felt from them. If you are like others and cannot afford to give financially, I would ask that you pray that others would be moved that have the means to step up.
