I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. John W. Berry recently passed away peacefully in his sleep due to organ failure. His passing was sudden and has left our family unprepared for the financial burden of his final arrangements.

John was more than just family. He was a warm soul with a big heart, someone who made a lasting impression on everyone he met. Life wasn’t always easy for him, but he never let that stop him from caring for others. Whether it was offering a place to rest, a meal to share, or a good laugh when it was needed most—John was always there in his own quiet, meaningful way.

The photo below really captures his spirit—calm, joyful, and at peace in the outdoors. That’s how we want to remember him.

We’re now trying to raise money to cover the cost of his cremation and a small memorial service to honor his life. Unfortunately, he didn’t leave behind any savings or life insurance, and our family is doing everything we can to give him the goodbye he deserves.
