To know John Voyiatzoglou is to love him! Teacher, musician, adventurer, loving father, supportive husband, and devoted family member who has spent the last five years dedicated to making a difference in the lives of his students. To so many of us, John is the cool big brother, always there to pick us up or make us laugh. Now it’s our time to support him in this next phase of his life.
John was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at the age of 13, and due to complications, he recently had both legs amputated, but his focus and drive are stronger than ever! He will walk again, he will drive again, he will climb the stairs to get into his home again. But he and his family need our help now in making these dreams a reality. The road to recovery requires ongoing medical support, including advanced prosthetics and extensive physical therapy. John will also need to make accommodations for accessibility in his daily life, including modifying his vehicle and making his home conducive to his daily needs. Your donations will help give John the tools and care he needs to walk again and regain his independence. Every contribution, no matter the size, and every share of this GoFundMe to spread the word will help to make a big difference.
Although he still has a long road of recovery ahead of him, John is eager to push through and remains positive despite these unfortunate circumstances. Let’s help him return to the full life he once knew. We all need to rally behind our beloved John to help him in this critical time. Thank you again for your support and sharing this message with as many people as possible.
