Support John Sutton's Battle with Brain Tumors

Hello Everybody! I am Kayla Miner and I started this gofundme for our friends John and Ayla Sutton.

Here is a message from John.

"I'm John Sutton and we are creating this account to help pay the accumulating medical bills and keep our bills paid.

Back in January, I had what I thought was just a fall while the rest of the family was at Wednesday night church groups. I hit my head on the front door and found that I had somehow wandered across town while not fully conscious. I had a neighbor bring me to the ER to be sure I didn't have a concussion and could go to work in the morning. After running some tests, they said I was fine and they didn't see any reason I couldn't return to work. A month later, my wife found me on the floor of the bathroom around midnight and thought I had fallen again. I made an appointment with my Dr because something seemed off and they determined that I have severe sleep apnea and diabetes. We got things going and figured that was it. Well, a month later, my wife found me having what looked like a seizure and since it was after midnight and I was safe, we determined that we would just make an appt with my Dr in the morning to find out what was going on. We didn't make it to the appointment because I had another seizure at the field during my boys' soccer game where a nurse called an ambulance and I went to the hospital. After many appointments and MRI's, they have found that I have tumors on and in my brain that will have to be removed. There is a tentative date in June to have the surgery, and the surgeons are hopeful they can get them all and I can get back to work quickly. For now, I am not allowed to drive, be alone for extended periods of time, or do anything where I could potentially be very hurt by losing consciousness. We have gone through the emergency fund we had set aside and have just found out that the temporary disability insurance we thought we were getting is not going to pay. We have made it this far on savings and the kindness of friends and family but being out of work since March is catching up. If anyone can donate to help us get through the next couple months, we would be extremely grateful as we also have Ayla's OB visits and tests to pay for. God Bless you all!"
