Hi there, my name is Amber Gillis and our family never thought we would be writing something like this but life can change overnight.

My uncle John was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that metastasized to his liver and lungs. Prior to his diagnosis, John was travelling back and forth out west to support his family. John has started treatments last week and is unable to work during this difficult time, and the financial pressure is becoming overwhelming. Cancer does not just impact ones body but it destroys one physically, emotionally and financially.

We’re raising funds to help cover his living expenses, medical costs not covered by insurance, and to give him the stability he needs to focus on healing. We want to ensure John is not tackling all this on his own.
