My name is Alysia Martin and I am making this GoFundMe for my brother, John Saffle, and his family. My brother is fighting cancer and is receiving chemo and radiation in St. Louis at the Mercy Pratt Cancer Center. He and his wife, April, are both having to stay in St. Louis for the next few months. They are staying at Hope Lodge, and their two daughters are home in Doniphan, Missouri. April, his wife, is his care provider while he is undergoing his treatments and has to stay with him while he is there.

John has always worked hard and provided for his family but is no longer able to work, and they really need the support of their community. They are struggling and need help with the cost of gas money to get back and forth from the lodge to the hospital, utilities, and food for my nieces as well as for them being in St. Louis. Just coming up with money to cover basic needs is impossible for them at this time. I'm praying that you will see it in your heart to help them navigate this trying time in their lives by donating to this campaign. The money will go to help them provide for their family while he is too sick to work. He has worked in construction and does a lot of remodels and repairs for the people in his community.
