John Daniel Reyna is a hardworking young father whose life changed in an instant on May 28, 2026, while attending Powerline Technology School at Southwest Texas College. John enrolled in the program with a simple goal: to build a better future for himself and his three-year-old daughter, Kamila.
Anyone who knows John knows his sense of humor, strong work ethic, and dedication to being the best father he can be. He has always been willing to put in the work necessary to provide for his daughter and create opportunities for their future.
As a result of a tragic incident, John suffered extensive injuries and remains on a long road to recovery. So far, he has undergone four surgeries, with many months of rehabilitation and therapy still ahead. His injuries include a broken hip, a femur fractured in three places, a broken knee, a broken forearm, and ten broken teeth.
Because John is uninsured, the financial burden facing him and his family is overwhelming. In addition to mounting medical expenses, everyday bills continue while he remains hospitalized and unable to work. His recovery will require significant physical therapy, ongoing medical care, and time away from employment.
Those who love John are asking for help during this difficult chapter of his life. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial stress and allow him to focus on healing and rebuilding his life. If you are unable to give, prayers, encouragement, and sharing his story are equally appreciated.
John’s journey ahead will not be easy, but with the support of family, friends, and the community, we hope to help him concentrate on what matters most, his recovery and returning to the role he treasures most: being there for his daughter, Kamila.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support.
