Support John Poetzel's Fight with CNS Lymphoma
Donation protected
At age 57, John has been diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma of the brain. It all started back in June when John was enjoying time at a casino. That night he had a medical emergency that was misdiagnosed as a stroke. Surgery has confirmed this terrible disease. He has been hospitalized since August 5th and is facing several months of inpatient chemotherapy at Johns Hopkins followed by rehabilitation. If you know John, you know that he adores his nieces and nephews. He is a supportive and caring son, brother, uncle and friend. We are asking for your help with John's bills. He cannot currently work but, the bills don't stop. We want John to focus on getting well. His treatments are so intense he must stay at Hopkins and be monitored to assure the chemotherapy isn't doing damage to vital organs. Once blood work confirms he is safe to go home he has to return every 14 days to repeat the treatment and tests. The chemo regiment is set for 8 rounds, every two weeks. John has a long, hard road ahead of him, but with your help , we can ease his financial burdens.
