Support John Perry's Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
Monday February 24th, my Brother-In-Law, John Perry (age 40), suffered a Left Basal Ganglia Stroke that resulted in him being life-flighted to an Atlanta hospital and immediately taken into surgery to remove the blood clot. He has made it through the stroke and surgery, but he is nowhere out of the woods; at this point he has lost his ability to talk/communicate, struggles to comprehend who people are and what they are saying, and cannot stand. Medical professionals cannot tell my sister Niki (Gracie-as she is known at her salon) what his prognosis will be; nothing can be guaranteed. John did suffer from some health issues, prior to his stroke, so Niki is the only one working and providing for the family. She has taken off work to be with John, and is in serious need of financial help to be able to make it through these next few months. She needs and wants to be with John as he goes through this long healing process, but missing work isn’t an option either…. I, from the bottom of my heart, ask for donations for my sister, John, and their three kids Nash, Gage, and Aubree. In one second, my sister became a single mom, a caretaker to a very sick spouse, and sole financial provider for all five of them, in an economy that even two income families are struggling in. Any little bit helps.
