My oldest brother, John Mueller, was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in August 2025. We went on a family vacation to Alaska in late July, and we all noticed that John was really tired and had a really troublesome cough. When we got home, he visited the doctor to discover that this was really serious. The mass on his lung had thankfully not spread to surrounding areas, but it was quite large, and because of the location, inoperable. He started chemotherapy in September, which has greatly reduced his energy levels and his ability to maintain some of his normal activities.
Current scans show the mass has reduced by about 50% - thanks be to God! We pray that he will continue to experience good results.
However, the pressure of medical bills and everyday expenses is mounting each day. He has been unable to work since August. Our family is large, and we are all helping John carry this burden as much as we can in many ways - with food, going to appointments, helping complete paperwork, praying together, and encouraging him - but we know the financial stress is extremely difficult.
John is one of the first people to step in and help when others are in need. Won't you please join us in helping carry this burden for him?
Deacon Nate Mueller
