John (Joven) Morgan recently received a life-changing health diagnosis and his family needs our support. In September, John was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach and liver cancer. His wife, Afton, and three children, Saige (11), Behr (7) and Rein (1) are determined to fight alongside John. They have chosen to start chemotherapy right away, but continue to seek the best medical team and treatment options.

As self-employed business owners, John and Afton will face additional challenges. John operates Monarch Farms and is the primary caregiver for his children. Afton continues working hard to meet her business needs as the owner of Fusion Dance & Performing Arts in Waterloo, IA. With John’s treatment still being assessed, as well as lost income from his unharvested crop, the Morgan family will encounter substantial childcare, medical and travel expenses.
