For my son,
On September 4, 2025, Warren “John John” McCain Jr. experienced a devastating workplace accident that changed his life forever. At just 20 years old, John John was electrocuted on the job, suffering severe burns to his face, hands, and feet. He coded three times before being airlifted to the hospital, and went without oxygen to his brain for nearly 45 minutes. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Smyrna PD, EMTs, nurses, and doctors, John John is still fighting, but his journey is just beginning. He remains in a medically induced coma, facing complications like pneumonia and gangrene, with doctors considering amputation of his toes. The extent of his brain injury is still unknown, and only time will reveal what kind of recovery is possible.
John John is more than just a patient—he’s a beloved son, brother, friend, and an expectant father. He loves his family deeply, finds joy in music, and takes pride in the skills he’s learned from his father and friends. His family is struggling to cope with the emotional and financial challenges ahead, especially with a new baby on the way. They need prayers, hope, and support as they navigate this uncertain future.
This fundraiser will help cover medical bills, rehabilitation, and living expenses for John John and his family. Every donation, prayer, and share makes a difference. Please keep John John and his loved ones in your thoughts as they face this difficult road to recovery.
